“These shoes have many good points, but the best for me is that they didn't need wearing in. I have worn them straight out of the box and they are comfortable, with supportive insoles. I would always opt for boots with ankle support for walks on uneven ground, but these are my choice for lower level walks. Look great too - which is a bonus!”

“I bough these two months ago to walk and ride with; I do long distance riding and having wet feet is one of my petty hates. I have tried lots of other “waterproof”/“Goretex shoes”, mainly Salomons and have sent them back every time- specially since they morning dew wet them and I got damp feet! These scarpa shoes are true to size, comfortable and truly waterproof. I was so happy with them, that I bought an extra pair to compete hiking and on horse back in Patagonia crossing the Andes next year. So far I can’t recommend them enough”

“After buying these in the boot and loving the boot decided to buy them in the shoe version for summer- got exactly same size but after wearing them on a few hikes they hurt on on one foot - toes ended up very tender pinky toe especially - still trying to walk them in can’t return as worn - not a successful purchase this time - disappointing”
