“This is my fifth pair of Scarpa Cyrus walking Shoes and they complement my Scarpa Cyrus Walking Boots when I do not need quite so much ankle support. They lare very comfortable to wear, are moderataely waterproof and last well but certainly not forever. In my case they last about 1500 miles of walking which is about 18 months for me. Also after about 1000 miles of walking they loose their waterproofness due to sole degradation and/or degration of the uppers. I am sure I will be buying more pairs of these in the years to come.”

“This is the fourth pair of these shoes I have had in recent years. They are extremely comfortable from new and need very little bedding in. I wear them as my daily shoes. The only down side is that he soles are not so durable. I can easily wear them out in a year but this is a small price to pay for the comfort.”

“I bought these as I'd snapped my Achilles tendon ;ast year & was struggling to walk in boots or wellies - they're great & enable me to flex my ankle freely. Bone dry too - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

“This is the second pair of these approach shoes I have bought. I bought my first pair for walking and they are excellent. Comfortable, well made, waterproof, stylish. The second pair I bought as a general pair of shoes because they are so comfortable and look very smart. I will keep them smart and allow the first pair to take the wear that a boot/shoe takes when used for walking.”

“Very pleased with the shoes. That said, I should have remembered that Italian-made shoes are famously on the narrower side. So it was with these (if paradoxically amply long enough). Having walked only a mile, I quickly developed blisters on the outer edges of my little toes. No gain without some pain? The shoes have now been worn for some miles and through mud and wet. They are moulded well to my feet and I don't envisage any more problems. Very pleased with the shoes but would-be purchasers with wider feet need to beware!”

“I am on my third pair of these shoes and I love them. They last about 1500 miles and of course I wish they would last longer but I think that is pretty good. The insoles need changing at least once in this period and I have found that the replacement insoles sold by scarpa do not last as well as the originals supplied with the shoes.”
