“These are great walking shoes... but! These are the 3rd pair I have had. They are not cheap, but they are top quality for walks in the hills and even for just about town. I wore them for a two-week track in the Nepal Himalayas, and they were perfect. However... every pair fails at the same point - the stitching comes undone where the boot flexes. On each pair I've had, I've had them mended (Timpsons - miracle workers), on one pair twice (they are too expensive to just give up on them). That works, up to a point. However, I have also worn away the soles, and I would expect the soles to last a lot longer. Still, they are the best option out there (for me, anyway), and a decent choice.”
