“This is my second pair, I purchased them because I have had a lot of different approach shoes over (very) many years and these are by far the best approach shoes that I have worn. The shoe creates the same secure feeling around your foot that one gets from putting on a quality boot. It is a good looking shoe (IMO), but more importantly it is robust. The sole provides good grip and is more durable than any of the other approach shoes that I have owned. I wear size 43 town shoes and unlike many other approach shoes, I have not had to go up a size to achieve a comfortable fit when wearing trekking socks.”

“These are an excellent trail shoe. I bought my first pair several years ago. They were the only ones that felt just right on my feet. I wear them on a daily basis for day to day use, i.e. dog walking, as well as low level trail walking. So they do take a bashing. Even so I probably get a good couple of years out of them. I would say that they remains fairly water resistant until around 18 months in my case, As I say though they get some wear on a daily basis in all weathers. I have just purchased a new pair ( 4th I have owned ) and prior to use I have sprayed then with Liquiproof Labs Protector to keep them looking better longer and to keep them waterproof longer. Highly recommended shoe if they feel right for you on your feet.”
