“I think I need a proper bottle and shaker for these as I always find bits of powder stuck around the neck of my normal bottle. I use these with water and they are just right for me. Not too thick and just enough chocolate taste without being sickly. I only tend to use them after my longer runs/rides and generally buy them in a box at a time. Having the sachets for me removes the faff of measuring out etc. Have only ever tried one other brand of protein post workout shake and the effects were a very gassy afternoon! The other half was not impressed at all! These don't cause me the same problem and are what I'll be sticking to from now on.”
“I've never used these types of product before, only energy drinks or electrolytes. I was always under the impression a decent glass of milk after workout would do. However the more I read the more I became open to the idea that the scientists know their stuff. So thought I'd give it a go. First off it's a doddle to make up. Mix with water or milk shake like mad and whack it down. I was expecting it to be gritty (not sure why, perhaps the powder and memories of Nesquik as a kid) but it wasn't. It was smooth, tasty and a relief to my throat that was battered from breathing like an asthmatic water buffalo with a 40 a day smoking habit following a 15k run. Did it aid a faster recovery? Can't really be sure and it is a bit early to say, but I will finish the batch I have, then contemplate the ups and downs and go from there.”
