“It does everything I hoped for .. I am completely familiar with reverse osmosis ( manufactured and used in my cleaning business ) but I would never drink that product. However the Osmio does a fantastic job of delivering perfect quality drinking water with the added benefit of being able to dispense with my kettle !.”

“Excellent product, so convenient on your kitchen work top. Our old system was under the sink and took up a lot of valuable cupboard space. Also when it comes to changing the filters , it will be so much easier. Great system combining hot water ( so no kettle needed) with cold water and even 85 degree coffee setting. It’s even got a setting for babies bottles. Easy to use, and compact so doesn’t take up much space. I highly recommend it. Great company with excellent customer service and extremely fast delivery.”

“Water tastes great, could not do without this. The fact that you can do away with a kettle and have water at different temperatures is so handy and space saving. I would like to be able to set a default for the amount of water that is dispensed. Sometimes more comes out than expected.”

“Good compact machine. I wanted a countertop unit that didn’t require installation and removed viruses, pharmaceuticals, and other undesirable contaminants from our drinking water and this seemed to be the best option for my family. After filtering, the wastewater (which I use to water my plants) quite clearly has a film of limescale on the surface, whereas the filtered water is very clear. The filter is easy to use and the customer service and advice I received when I phoned Osmio with some questions was great. The lady I spoke to was very well-informed and gave some useful advice. The unit arrived promptly the next day. A few design flaws which I thought worth mentioning... the unit is quite tall so although it fits in the space underneath my top kitchen units, I cannot remove or refill the water tank without pulling the whole unit out and turning it sideways. The tank/jug is BPA-free plastic, however the plastic has quite a strong plasticky smell and the filtered water can sometimes also taste a bit plasticky. I’m hoping this will fade with time, although it makes me wonder if the plastic is leaching into the water. As a previous reviewer has mentioned, timing is key when pouring yourself a glass of water. The cold water takes a few seconds to stop pouring so you need to press the stop button earlier to avoid spillage. However, the boiling water option stops immediately?! Lastly, when switching between boiling and cold, the first 4 seconds or so of water does not come out at the desired temperature, so when making tea for example, I need to catch the first water in a separate cup otherwise the water isn’t hot enough to properly brew the tea. Likewise when going from hot to cold, if I don’t let the water run for a few seconds first I end up with a glass of warm water. Just thought I’d mention these points for future designs, but overall I am pleased I purchased this system as it filters out all the nasties I wanted to remove from our tap water, so it has given us peace of mind.”

“Great product, just what I was looking for. It would be good if the magnetic drip tray could be lifted to 1/3 up or half way up the machine so that when you are making a tea or coffee, tiny drops of boiling water don't splash up the front of the machine or out of the cup.”
