“Good design and solid construction, including brass threads for the push fit inserts. No leaks so far, and easy enough to install with push fit pipes and connectors. The filter supplied with it seems to work very well. No chlorine, and no other chemical taste or smell, just clear fresh tasting water. I suspect changing the filter will require some effort. I've just ordered replacement filters (reasonably priced) and will find out soon. A tool was supplied with the housing for this, whereas some companies charge extra. Overall, happy with the filter kit, quality of filtered water, and the pricing and service from Osmio. Before installing the Osmio kit I had bought a filter kit from a company called Spring Clear (spring-clear.co.uk). Their filter housing kit was more expensive, and had plastic threads that stripped and leaked within 18 months. Also, the replacement filter cartridge (5 micron carbon, similar to the one from Osmio) didn't remove all chlorine, and the water had a chemical taste that wasn't present in the pre-filtered water. After saying they would send a replacement or a refund, they've done neither and no longer respond to emails. Contrast that with this Osmio kit - cheaper, better quality, good service. I've uploaded 3 photos - 2 of the Osmio kit installed, and one of the previous blue filter housing from Spring Clear, which I suggest you avoid.”

“We live on a narrow boat where space is a premium, this water filter fitted very neatly on the back of a cupboard. We have now thrown away our counter top filter jug, as we have filtered tap water without the extra tap. The filter was fitted in around 20 minutes, super easy to fit.”
