Very happy with our new cabinet, it was exactly what we were looking for. Once the shelves and drawers are in it is very heavy, about 90k, so bear that in mind when having it delivered - you won't want to move it far. There is variation in the shades of the different wood panels, but it's natural wood so to be expected. There was only one negative with the cabinet - but fortunately it doesn't apply if you have the wooden handles. Before the cabinet is packed into it's box, all the handles are fitted inside the unit using the holes intended for their final positions. So the handles on the doors will be on the inside of the doors with the securing screws inserted from the outside holding them in place, which on paper sounds like a sensible idea. Unfortunately the screws were slightly overtightened, which meant they left a visible ring from the screw head. With wood handles this isn't a problem as you can't see the imprint of the screw heads, but the mounts on the metal handles are smaller than the screw heads which means after assembly there are visible rings around any mounts where the screws were originally overtightened. I think either the factory should be more careful with these screws, or use a smaller head screw, or even washers to prevent marking the wood. It's a shame because otherwise it's a very nice piece of furniture. Luckily we prefer the wooden handles anyway. :)

Thank you so much for your 4-star rating on our Harwell Oak Display Cabinet. We truly appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that the cabinet is exactly what you were looking for. We are glad that you are very happy with your new cabinet. We understand that the weight of the cabinet can be a concern during delivery, especially with the shelves and drawers in place. We appreciate you sharing this information with others who may be considering purchasing the cabinet. We apologize for the variation in shades on the different wood panels, but we want to reassure you that it is normal for natural wood and adds to its unique character. Regarding the issue with the fitting of the handles, we understand your frustration. We have taken note of your suggestion to improve the screw tightening process or consider alternative options to prevent marking the wood. We truly appreciate your insight, as it helps us to improve our products. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We hope that you continue to enjoy your new cabinet, especially with the wooden handles that you prefer.
