“This toy box should not have passed quality control at Tutti Bambino, note, not Olivers delivery issue. There is an obvious tentative circular drill mark in front of the real hole which attaches the lid to the base, and as it's on the top there's no hiding it. The oak colour is lighter and greyer than I expected. I would say the lid hinges are quite flimsy for the weight of the lid and probably need upgrading. If my OH had been involved in assembly he would have returned it on principle on the circular dent as he can't bear defects. Having sweated actual sweat to assemble it on my own without involving him, he is surprisingly ok with letting it go, plus I didn't tell him what it cost. I decided if it's too annoying I will add a padded top. Tip: weighs 18 kg, the lid can't be secured, so assemble in situ where it will live as it's extremely awkward to move or lift once put together. If you put the soft close fittings on, be aware the lid won't go all the way upright. Currently looking for some appropriate castors, which would be my other suggestion for an improvement.”
