“Great pastels. I think you could have addressed the fixative issue in the book, you just kind of pretended it didn't exist, which is like, not helpful. I would have appreciated an overview of the different fixing options. But great pastels and tutorials.”

“I was skeptical at first as I owned soft pastels before, but didn’t use them. When my Artful pastel box arrived, I gave it a proper try and I was amazed how soft and beautiful drawings turn out. It’s easy to get started too. Drawing with pastels has visceral feeling, I’m creating with my hands as early humans did. The down point is that it’s messy and I hate my cheapest fixative spray.”

“I think the colour selection could have been better (the upgrade box would have been better as the base box) and I wasn't very impressed with the tutorials but the quality was very good as always - nice pigmented pastels”

We do apologise for any dissapointment caused by the colour selection included, our colour selection for the main 24 pastels was to provide a full spectrum of colours to maximise outcomes for each indiviuals own artwork.
