“It's a great set! I also love that the pencils are oil based, so it's something new for me to try out. The pigments and blending are amazing. I did really miss a sort of colouring page or maybe pages inside the magazine, what a fun idea would that be? Also one thing that I'm a little less exciting about is that some materials were also in previous boxes, and I don't use all the materials very often so I have a lot of dubbles.”

Hi Sanne, We're pleased to hear you've been enjoying the pencils and have even gotten to try out a new medium through the use of Artful :) Our boxes are designed as complete sets so will include everything you'll need to work solely out of that box, without the need of using other materials. “given that a subscriber to an art box is already in possession of basic materials, I think the colouring pencils were a particularly poor choice. Especially when compared to the screen printing kit and ink paints that I received previously.”
