“I have bought several Oberwerth items including the M11 bag which is wonderful. Universally great quality and service. I do not like neck straps for my M cameras and routinely use wrist straps instead, so I recently bought 2 of the cord-type Lahn wrist straps for use on one of my Leica M11s and my Q2. Firstly, the build quality is excellent - good leather, good stitching and beautiful to look at. However, the cord used in the strap is very thick. I was eventually able to get the cord through the M11 lug using dental floss to pull it through. I simply could not get the other through the Q2 lug. The reason I like the cord type is to prevent any possible scratching and wear at the lug area, so using a split ring is undesirable to me. So, I have a Lahn wrist strap i cannot use and have to find another solution for the Q2. This is the first time i have bought any Oberwerth product that was less than outstanding.”
