“Arrived with bottom screw not fitted properly so wouldn’t fit into the camera. Poorly designed with no ability to remove bottom plate to reload film without unscrewing the screw and removing the case completely. Hopeless for loading in street photography conditions.”

thank you for the honest review – and our apologies that this case reached you unable to do the one thing it must. The screw that secures the case to the body had been assembled with its washer in the wrong position, so it could not engage the camera's thread. That is a fault on our side, not a flaw in how you used it, and it should not have passed our final check.
On the wider point about reloading film: it is a fair criticism, and one we would rather take seriously than defend. A half case is built to protect as much of the body as possible, which is why the base must be freed to reach the film door – but how quickly and safely that happens is exactly the kind of detail we want to keep refining.

“Ich bin von dem Half Case ganz angetan. Es sitzt gut, eng und schlockert nicht.
2 Themen würde ich überdenken und ggf verbessern:
1. kann man das Leder nicht gleich stumpfer machen? Dann liegt es sicherer in der Hand. Zumindest eine Info wäre gut, ob man 1000er Schleifpapier nehmen sollte oder Chemie?
2. warum ist denn da kein Schlitz im Half Case wo man den Schlüssel sicher reinstecken kann? So ist das ziemlich umständlich und ggf nicht so einfach.”

Das Leder ist bewusst glatt verarbeitet, um mit der Zeit eine schöne Patina zu entwickeln. Wir empfehlen, das Case regelmäßig zu nutzen, durch den natürlichen Gebrauch erhält es mit der Zeit mehr Grip. Vom Einsatz von Schleifpapier oder Chemikalien raten wir ausdrücklich ab, um die Lederstruktur nicht zu beschädigen.
Der Hinweis zum Schlitz für den Schlüssel ist sehr wertvoll, wir geben diese Anregung gerne an unser Produktentwicklungsteam weiter.
