“Excellent quality. Be careful to check the depth of your kayak as the front section of the rack / loader catches on our kayaks (the top section just in front of the main cockpit) when the kayak is stored on it's side. We need to install further foam to protect the kayak from being damaged. Also realise that many roof bars do not sit on the same plane due to the curve of the car roof and hence the racks point slightly off the vertical. For that reason and due to the curve of the kayak side it does not touch the centre of each rack only the edges (again requiring us to fit some foam protection. Lastly, the bottom plates are slightly different from the picture shown on the box and not quite so well engineered. They do fit easily and work, however.”
