“I've used these to strap canoes and kayaks on my roofrack for a few years now and they are still going strong. They are quick and easy to put on/ take off; which is handy when you are inevitably blocking traffic or walkers when accessing a river. I've just bought another set exactly the same (to save using rope for when I carry a second open canoe), so that says a lot. The quality is good and the 35mm width of strap does give extra confidence in the security of the tie. The webbing under the buckle gives good protection to the boats also. My only gripe with these is the new/ deceptive marketing picture which shows them in a nice blue, bespoke bag. My second set, like the first, came in a simple, plastic bag.”
