“These boots appear to be well made, grip performance on wet rock is good. Lacing & strap system works well to securely hold your foot which also improves grip performance & confidence in slippery environments. I had read somewhere that sizing is designed so as to allow for wearing wetsuit socks or dry suit feet inside the boots at your normal size. So a Euro 43.5, my normal La Sportiva size for numerous Approach shoes and Mountaineering boots, does indeed allow extra space for the thicker layers worn inside a Canyon/Canoe boot, you just need to know this beforehand and not upsize your order, La Sportiva have done this for you in their sizing, it is not obvious in the La Sportiva information. Only time will tell on Longevity but I am confident from what I seen so far.”
