“I love these shoes so much that I've been scouring the internet to find a second pair since Astral stopped making them (thank the gods for NSWatersports!). They are probably the most aesthetically pleasing and comfortable shoes I've ever worn (and just about everything hurts my feet). The upper is light and breathable and dries quickly (a good hot weather sneaker) and the soles are very sturdy with a little flex. They are minimalist/good looking enough that I wear them on some less casual occasions when I know I'm going to be on my feet a lot and also comfy and supportive enough to wear on easier, less intense hikes/walks (maybe more intense too but I haven't done any in these shoes). They're great for bringing on vacation as an all-purpose shoe to save space in your luggage. Quality seems good so hopefully they last a while. I've had my first pair 9-10 months now and all that's changed is the color because of dirt when I wore them on vacation in Costa Rica. As far as sizing goes I guess the Astral size chart is accurate by the cm measurement (I have terrible luck with sizing guides). I unfortunately bought the wrong size because I'm in the States and forgot that a European company would list the UK size and not the US size. Whoops. Luckily they are only a half size too big so I can still wear them with some thicker insoles (which I usually need to use anyway).”
