Revamped for summer 2016, the Gradient steps it up - with fewer seams, tougher components, and reinforcement where it matters. Our Vibram sole, moulded from confidence inspiring HydroGrip rubber, is the ultimate in wet traction. The boot is shaped to provide ankle support whilst remaining low profile to fit comfortably in a kayak and the insole can be removed if you want extra space inside for thick socks. The upper is reinforced from heel to toe with thick scratch rubber. For hike-ins scouting and portaging the Gradient is tougher than ever. “Worn a handful of times so far and very pleased with them. I was wearing Palm wet boots before and had bought a 9 for summer use and a 10 for winter use to fit the dry suit feet and socks in which had worked well. I normally wear a 44 / 9.5 shoe. There was little guidance on sizing of the boot re: fitting dry suits etc. so went for the 10 and it is probably slightly more generously sized than the wet boot but means there is space for a slightly thicker sock for winter which is no bad thing here in Scotland! Very pleased with the boot so far as comfortable and offers good grip and foot protection for walking so will happily look to get a pair or 9's for summer use.”
