The Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC adds Hi-Res Audio technology and newly developed active noise-cancelling technology to the familiar design of the previous ATH-MSR7. With 45mm True Motion Drivers, the ATH-MSR7NC delivers distortion-free audio reproduction with extended frequency response.Miniature microphones located in the top of each earcup is used to pick up ambient noises, which is then used to effectively create appropriate sound-cancelling signals to block out noise. Each earcup also houses an acoustic vent positioned on the side that enhances tuning without damaging sound quality, resulting in Hi-Res audio in both active and passive noise-cancelling modes.The internal 3.7V Li-Po battery provides up to 30 hours of noise-cancellation, and is easily recharged via the included MicroUSB cable. Thanks to the flexible swivel design and soft memory foam on the headband and earcups, the ATH-MSR7NC ensures comfort throughout long listening sessions.The Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC comes with two cables: one standard cable, and one with built-in microphone for use with mobile phones.
