“The smart watch itself is beautiful piece of equipment. I wanted a traditional looking watch with some of the functionality of a full smartwatch.
The form factor is really nice. The watch itself is very smooth with no physical buttons.
It is not very thick (relative to other watches I have tried) and the face is big but not too big.
The features of the watch really are great. there are a multitude is information items to record and review (sleep, HR, VO2 max, stress, steps etc, etc).
There is one major flaw with this product - it does not stay connected to the paired phone. This has been an issue dating back to the release of this watch in 2017. The result of this continuous disconnection is that you may miss calls, texts, emails or any other notifications you have permitted. This is a HUGE negative as it is one of the main reasons for buying a smartwatch (for me particularly THIS smartwatch). There are numerous posts on numerous forums regarding this and Garmin (appear to be) completely useless. There is a serious flaw in either the software or the firmware however Garmin do not seem to either want to or know how to fix the issue.
When it works it is beautiful, when it doesn't the stress monitor is your best friend :)
The only other negative with this smartwatch is it has not got GPS.
If Garmin would fix the disconnecting issue it would be one of the best hybrid smartwatches out there.”
