“For me, the original and best. This honey mead is like no other. It's sweet, refreshing and punchy. A strong honey flavour compliments the alcoholic afternote. It's simple and exquisite. I began my mead journey here many years ago. Lindisfarne is always the mead I come back to for toasts, celebrations, and honouring those we've lost. It's a symbolic drink and I believe this is an excellent example of it. There are many versions of mead, and many opinions about it. For somewhere to start, this is absolutely stellar.”

“Bought 2 bottles for my son Chris ( I'm thinking in a previous life he was a monk) he loves drinking the mead. He's tried a few different flavours but only the original floats his boat. The offers from Northumbrian gifts were too good to miss out on. As usual 2 bottles will be gone in one session, strange lad so will be looking out for more offers.”
