“After repeated bouts of tendinitis due to tight Achilles/calves/PF/etc that get aggravated whenever I start running lots of uphill trails or run in spikes I decided to try using zero-drop for walking and occasional road-running with higher-drop for most of my mileage. Bought these as my walking shoes as they're available in a discrete colour (unlike the Topo Magnify I bought for running!). I had to go up half a size versus my usual Brooks running shoes (which I also have to do for Nike and inov-8 running shoes). So far they seem to be having the desired effect in terms of easing my tendinitis. They're very comfortable, surprisingly squishy given the low stack, but also very stable due to the wide platform. The mid-foot and heel are nicely secure so I can have the laces pretty loose to avoid putting pressure on my tibialis anterior tendons.”
