“I did a lot of research into trail trainers. These always appeared in the top 5. Some reviews said they were not suitable for wide feet - However, a little bit more digging and I found they do them in Wide EE. So, as I have wide feet, and enjoy a little toe box room, these were great.
They are so comfy on, I actually prefer them to my road trainers. On trails, they grip well and are actually very light, so quite speedy. I have also used these on partial road/trail runs and they perform really well. They look like they will last, and of course, have a funky colour!”
“A bit firmer than I expected having never owned hokas before but fits true to size length wise for me and the wide version is wide enough for my apparently normal width feet. Very nicely cushioned heel cup even though it looks weird. Tongue is too short and i did have to retighten laces once on first run. Grips ok in the mud/much better than my road shoes even though not really mud competent. Colour is as horrid as picture suggests. All the good colours are saved for ppl with special hoka-normal feet or road shoes.”
“These are a really great trail shoe. I w had Salomon speedcross and brooks cascades in the past but these are lighter and more comfortable than both.”
