“Just had the shoes out for a run for the second time they are deteriorating run by run and I imagine will not last long I would like a reply to see what measure I need to take to get them replaced”
“I liked my original Trailtalon 290s so much (now well-worn) that I was keen to replace them with v2. I have yet to notice much difference, but I am hoping to experience the same benefits. In other trail shoes the upper wears out (by the little toe) while there are still good miles left in the tread. With Trailtalons I have found no early wear in this area despite lots of running on rough trails. Tough, protective, hard-wearing, comfortable and good grip - although you may get a faster descent on steep wet grass than you wanted.”
“Tried and tested in trail marathons, ultras and obstacle races. Bought a number of these as they just work for me with wide toe box and minimal arch support so relatively flat internal profile. Jack of all trades shoe - good for packed trail, rocky technical paths, moderate mud, grip well on wet surfaces including wood and work just fine on road too. Won't grip on steep clay or very wet mud but not designed for that. Not a very cushioned shoe so need to be used to/prefer that”
