“These are my general running shoes and I do a fair amount of mileage so get through them pretty quickly. They're a great fit, have a lowish stack height and wide soles making them very stable, and they're excellent quality. I used to replace them every 400 miles, at which point they still looked perfect, but more recently have realised that the midsole starts to feel dead after about 300 miles at which point I notice the effect on my fatigue levels after long runs. Not a deal-breaker, but that's why they're 4-star rather than 5-star. Not sure why the midsole does die so early as I only weigh a little over 70kg, although I do wear custom orthotics which may put some stress on the structure of the shoe.”
