“I bought these to replace a pair of king mt shoes that I loved and these seem to be the best replacement I could find. I have done a 10 mile trail run in them and they were comfortable but not nearly as relaxed feeling as the king mt. I also don’t like the slightly larger sole. I managed to find a pair of new pair of king mt on e bay and find them much better. I will keep the lone peak for when these were out.”
“As a fan of Altra shoes Im already used to the comfort and fit they offer but this shoe takes it to another level . The cushion will protect for many km’s and hours on the trails but when you want to crank up the pace it certainly delivers.
I have no hesitation in recommending although be careful if this is your first zero drop shoe and adapt slowly .”
“I love these shoes. they are a massive improvement on my Lone Peak 3.5's. They have a really roomy/comfy fit and they feel much lighter even though they are a similar weight. Very nice heel to toe transition and whilst they are cushioned I still get some decent feedback to my foot on the trail.”
“Out of the box they feel fine on the feet. After a few 6 to 10mile runs on 'good' trails they have not coursed any hot spots. An additional set of removable stone gauards would be nice as are supplied with superiors. My main concern is that they will last longer than there predecessors the 4.5 which only lasted a couple of hundred miles.”
