“I didn't buy these for running. They were recommended for the relief of pain from plantar fasciitis and indeed they do. The zero-drop and the wide toe box are very comfortable and the shoes are really waterproof. Would definitely buy again.”
“Since I discovered Lone Peak shoes a few years ago, I love the comfortable fit and the toe room and I wouldn't buy anything else now, even after decades of buying Nike Air Pegasus. I do find the regular ones leaky in the rain and the mud (this is Cumbria, not California!) so I was delighted to see this all-weather version and bought them as a second pair. I use mine as much for walking trails, like coastal paths, as for running - any time I can avoid wearing boots. This waterproof version is a bit sweatier than the regular ones, but not much, and no worse than waterproof boots.”
“This is my 3rd pair of Altra running shoes and they are superb. I’m not a runner but need them to walk. I have bunions and a hammer toe and need these to enable me to wear correct toes. I’ve been wearing these for about 2 months now and more often than not have pain free walking which is life enhancing for me”
“I love these shoes. They are very comfortable, from the first wear they felt like I’d been wearing them for ages. No rubbing or having to break them in. I usually wear size UK 7 in Altra but had to send them back and get a size UK 6.5 as the 7 was too big.”
