“The shoes are slightly more substantial than the 'normal' Altra's. This means they are slightly more restrictive but this is not problematic.
I have not had the opportunity to test it's waterproof ability but it looks as if it would provide some protection.”
“Shoes quite OK - comfortable, spacious and moderately cushioned. There are 2 improvements in particular that I would like:
1. deeper treads for better grip on soft ground
2. some means of securing low gaiters at the heel
These 2 features would both be highly desirable for the typical swampy terrain below
