“A very good fit for my wide feet, fitting to the instep rather than squeezing the toes. The cushioning is much appreciated by my older legs, feeling light and springy. I also have Ultraventure shoes for off-road and am generally impressed by Topo, but both are let down by the insole which soaks up water and takes days to dry.”
“Excellent road shoes for everyday running. Wide toe box is very comfortable plenty of cushioning and a low heel to toe drop make the shoes seem very natural. Only improvement could be some tougher more abrasion resistant rubber on the heels as they wear quite quickly if you are a heel striker.”
“Very good shoes that fitted very well. Size was the same as my shoes so don’t go a size up. I am a nutural runner doing a half marathon type training. No blisters yet!!”
“I run in shoes from zero drop to low drop. Up to now this has been a combination of Altra and Hoka shoes.
First try of Topo and I love them. Bought for long slow runs. They felt instantly comfortable. Good levels of cushioning for long runs but at the same time they still feel nimble and responsive and fine for chucking in a bit of tempo work along the way. The heel fit is great and I've definitely found myself another make of lower drop shoes to choose from.”
“Excellent low drop shoe for heavy runner with wide feet. I usually run off road (also in Topo) and these are proving ideal for transitioning back to running on tarmac.”
“I was looking for something for marathon mileage, and I am pleased with the shoe. Looks a little clunky but is actually quite light. Great cushioning and very comfortable, like the Altra nice roomy toe box. All round a nice shoe which does what I wanted.”
