Speedgoat 4 WIDE Mens High Cushioning Low Drop (4mm) Trail Running Shoes Fiesta/Provincial Blue Reviews

I love these shoes, so this is the second pair i've bought before they get discontinued. Usual Hoka's are too narrow for me, so these wide ones are perfect. The grip for trails is great.

Really comfortable shoe for long trail runs, but the wider version is a must as the standard version can get quite tight when feet swell. Completed Kielder marathon with no issues, good cushioning.

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try the speedgoat as the wide fitting model was still too narrow for my feet and the shoe size runs very small. I really need to try Hoka in-store rather that order online. Northern Runner made it easy to order and return. I would order from them again.

For an older runner such as me, having well cushioned trail shoe is vital. Although I don't have what I consider a wide foot, I find the standard Speedgoat is tight across the base of the toes and the wide version is more comfortable and essential if doing long runs in hot weather when the feet swell. The Vibram outsole gives good grip and is durable.

I am a size 10 in everyday shoes. I went up a size with these and they seem to be fine. I also went for the wide fit and I am glad I did & they fit well.I don’t have massive hobbit feet, They must be a narrow shoe

These shoes are awesome. They are very comfortable and I trust the grip 100% on the ups and on the downs! Definitely recommend!

These are easily the most comfortable shoe of any type I’ve owned. The wide fit is perfect for me and I ordered my size, 12, and it’s great. I’d been led to believe I’d need to order a size bigger but the wide fit seems to rule that out! Great!! I’ve only used these on Road and light trail, you can feel enough of the surface you’re on to give confidence although someone who prefers more foot feel would probably prefer something far less cushioned. They’re great, as are northern runner. Never used them before, will definitely use them again in the future. Faultless service. They even arrived two days earlier than estimated, cool.

Great fit for my wide feet, and useable on long runs straight from the box. Would like to have seen Hoka sort out the well-known longevity issues: for me these really only last 300-500 miles max. Two previous pairs have split around the toe box, and by all accounts this is not unusual. Regardless, this is my fourth pair and unless I can find a more reliable shoe at a similar price point I'll probably end up with a fifth.
