By far the 1080v10 are my favourite running trainer. Lovely cushioning and the cut out heel cup makes a comfortable fit against by achillies. I like them so much I've brought extra spares to hide away while they are still available in the size and width I use!

I need a wide fitting shoe and these fit the bill beautifully. Light and very comfortable - a great running shoe.

I have always had New Balance running shoes for over 25 years. And I have never been disappointed. First class products.

This is the second pair I've purchased, so New Balance must be doing something right. I have wide feet, so my pair is a mens 2E fitting. Even so, I relaced the shoes to start at row 3, went down one row vertically and then started cross lacing from there. I finished with a runners know, so I used the last lace hole. There is a 4E fitting available as well, but I'm unsure whether I really need to go that far - especially as these shoes have quite a pronounced wide toebox, which I like. I have used these shoes on pavement and on (mostly) dry trails - they are fine on either and have a "bouncy" feel, which I also like. If the trails are wet, they still don't slide about too much. My last pair is still going at 600 miles, so there aren't any problems with materials or construction, as far as I can tell. The only change I would like is a smaller heel-to-toe drop (it's currently around 10 mm). Because my feet are wide at the big toe joint, the 10 mm drop places extra pressure in this area. It hasn't caused problems to-date, but a smaller drop would improve things for me. Maybe v11?
