“Rock Solid Trail Shoe! Although the new LP 5.0 is out, I was happy to get another pair of 4.5s while they last at a good value. I've worn these from rocky, technical trails in California mountains to steep, ankle deep trials in Kent forests. I've never felt like I was going to loose my footing. They can feel a little firm so on longer or mixed road/trail runs so I use an insert for additional padding. I run 45-60 miles a week in the wood and these are by far my fav trail shoe.”
“The roomy toebox is the best thing about these shoes - your toes definitely wont be squashed. Zero drop takes a bit of getting used to but it's good for your achilles. But other than that I really don't like them!
The grip round your instep is either too tight and uncomfortable or you slide around in the shoe (which you do anyway on rocks or any cambered surface). The cushioning is dead with no bounce at all so they are really disheartening on the road. The grip offroad on muddy surfaces is good but they are quite heavy. And they are so ugly I can't bear to look down!
All in all sorry, just my opinion and yours may differ but I wish I hadn't bought them.”
