“Same fit as always - I always buy UK 11.5 in Lone peaks, from v1 to this one, they always fit. This version is higher around the ankle and seems to hold the ankle better. Tweaks to grip and patterning, but otherwise, a very similar Lone Peak!”
“Size runs small so better consider that before purchasing.
Not sure about ground grip quality, especially in hiking, running outdoors will be a better option for these shoes.
Besides that, the material feels high quality and they feel comfortable.”
“This is a great shoe, it seems to be a trail version of the Altra Escalante, it feels quite similar, maybe a tiny bit more padded on the upper, although Im not sure though as Im comparing 400km worn in Escalante's with brand spanking new Lone Peaks. The large lugs on the bottom offer much more grip than the road running Escalante. Out on a run I experienced a nice well balanced run, plenty of grip and comfort, I ran 25k though the North York moors uphill and downhill over some muddy terrain there seemed to be plenty of grip. No sore spots on my feet after an initial christening of 25k from brand new. Excellent.”
