“Great cushioning and is very stable. Works great if you overpronate. The traction is amazing. The only letdowns with this shoe are the single eyelets would be better to get a secure fit on the collar if there were two eyelets. The other is very narrow in the toe box, make sure you go up a half size.”
“Bought these as a gift for my husband. He loves the cushioning and uses them for summer hiking. I have a pair too, find they offer great warmth and protection for long winter trail runs but can feel too hot and heavy in the summer.”
“I wish I'd bought these sooner! Had to get an emergency replacement as mey Scott RC fell apart at 150 miles!!! These are comfortable on and off road, perhaps due to the Ortholite sole in side. They feel like a full shoe i.e they are a good fit all around and over the bridge of the foot. There is a decent toe box so no feeling cramped or too loose. I bought a 43 and they are perfect. Already done runs of up 10 miles in them straight off with no "breaking in" problems. Work well with injinji crew trail socks...”
“On my fifth pair, not because they aren’t durable but because used extensively in the mountains as my go to walking shoe. Great grip on all terrain types, very comfortable & long lasting. Disclaimer, not used for running only walking in the Italian & Scottish mountains.”
“Shoes feels protective and quite roomy in the length and toe box for me. I wouldnt say they are soft cushioned but they dont feel harsh. The grip seems good so far on wet (not sloppy) mud. I feel they are a good long day shoe for varied conditions.”
“Great shoe in terms of cushioning and stability, I am an pronator and they seem to hold my foot upright. There seems to be a good return on them even with the tougher technical sole. The Toe basket seems narrow, although I have one wider foot! I got some blistering on my first run, although it was 42 km, I am hoping they wear in a bit. over all good shoe, a few weeks in with them now.”
