“My toes have ROOM. Lovely wide space, feels great but could have done with a little more toebox height.
Shoes are comfortable, light with a nice grippy sole... have not had a very muddy run yet.
These shoes are noisy even when I walk also the material folds onto my little toes but not noticable wearing thicker socks. They are still new so may get quieter with more miles”
“Love the wide toe box for a more sure footed run and the zero drop, although took a few runs and aches to get used to, great for comfortable mid-foot strike with just enough cushioning for a light heal touch.
Completely fell apart after 3 months. Both split away from the sole on the outside. I do a 5k forest run 3 or 4 times a week.
The bumper protection round the edge is weak and easily torn through movement which then exposes the upper mesh to tears and then just spilts open.
These shoes are not good enough quality to use on trail runs through muddy woodland paths.”
“These are great lightweight trail shoes. Nice and wide in the forefoot, but snug in the middle foot and heel. They promote a natural gait really well, have more cushioning than ultra minimal shoes, but still retain ground feel. Sizing is spot on and the overall foot shape is more natural (for me) than Altra's (Topo seem to have a natural curve on the outside of the ball whereas Altra's have a wedge shape with the wide point actually on the outer toe). A slight rubbery smell out of the box but this soon fades, and supplied with great paper pulp packing for the tow box that I've since used to reshape other shoes.
All round a great shoe, that manages to hold your feet securely and still allow a natural spread in the toe box.”
