“Comfortable, stable, great grip and seem to be holding up ok in the wet weather. I love the fit of the Altra Lone Peak range, perfect for my feet with plenty of toe box space and a snug feel to the heel.”
“They are a good, waterproof trail shoe. They are not the most comfortable pair of trainers probably because of the waterproof material. They are also a bit heavy looking. They are very functional and I’m a big fan of the Zero drop design.”
“I love the standard Lonepeak, but the fit on the RSM is very different. Even half a size up I found them extremely tight and uncomfortable at the wide point of my fore foot due to the different materials. Returned them for a refund.”
“Really good trail shoe. Love the space for my toes. Keeps my feet dry. Will replace my Brooks Adrenaline with some Altra running shoes when they are due for replacement. Can't recommend enough.”
“Altra Lone Peak 4 trail shoes are always so comfortable to wear with the zero drop and wide toe box and these shoes are no exception. As with their Mid RSM boot I don't find the either particularly waterproof but they are both water resistant to a degree, but that is the only downside. I wear the Altra trail shoes for every day use as well as hiking and running, the durability is great but they are just the best shoe ever for allowing your foot to move and spread naturally. I no longer suffer from sore toes from being compressed into smaller toe boxes and the zero drop has also sorted out sore achilles and knee problems. I find I always need a full size larger than normal with Altra for the best fit. I can't recommend the Altra Lone Peak 4 range highly enough, brilliant !”
“Really good shoe, great space in the toe box allowing the foot to spread out evenly. There is a light weight rubber rand protecting the toes.
Great grip, on most surfaces.
Good gaiter attachment points.
I found the shoe a little noisy, due to the event fabric being crinkly, but I'd purchase again due to the all round running comfort.”
