“As an Altra fan I was looking for something I could wear on mixed road and trail runs. I was advised they fitted small and to go up half a size from my usual running shoes. This proved to be correct. To begin with, the toe space felt tight on top, not much vertical clearance, but this eased after a few km. They are very comfy and secure both on rough paths and on the road. My only niggle with them is that that they’re a bit heavier than I am used to. So I wouldn’t try to go fast in them, but for long explorations in the countryside they’re great.”
