“First time with Hoka One Ones, and having talked to several friends and a chap from Northern Runner, I took the plunge. Did my first run last night and they were very comfy; cushioned without being too heavy, and a reasonable amount of stability. I have struggled in the past with narrow shoes (I get blisters) so I went for a wide fit shoe, and that was fine, although it is roomy and I wonder if the regular fit would have been fine. Obvs, I would have preferred to try them on in a shop, but I have no local vendors of Hoka, and Northern Runner appeared to be the best option on the internet.”
“For some reason 6mm narrower across the frontfoot than the Bondi 6 Wide. For this reason I'll go back to the Bondi Wide next time. Otherwise great shoe, and I will use to death. They will go eventually at the stitching by the ball of the foot due to lack of width.”
“Everything is excellent with right foot but left foot inner arch got blisters from shoe insole edge . 5-8K run leaves mark but 10+ k runs blisters. Even with this wide model. Little dissapointing. Otherwise very cushy ,light shoes. Much more safe feeling running downhill.”
“As a big lad I like a shoe with plenty of cushioning. Surprisingly light, very comfortable and lots of toe room. Love them and great service even in in "lockdown" from Northernrunner.com”
