“I looked at a positive review of the Scott trail running shoe on YouTube and decided to purchase this shoe as it was advertised at a really good reduced price. I ran a local cross country course and I was impressed with the comfort and grip of the shoes so for me I’m very pleased with my choice.”
“These Scott trail runners have amazing grip on the trails where I live in Stirling. There also wide enough that your feet are not restricted great shoes”
“Shoes look ace, but after my first run I had no skin on my left foot little toe. The toe box is very narrow due to the construction materials of the webbing and the reinforced rim which is flimsy plastic is glued on to the material. The plastic having no structure or rigidity, so they lie flat together. Scott provide the shoes with cardboard shoe horns, which is maybe to try and insert some form and structure prior to use, but i've have to force the material to get any room in the left shoe at all. I must admit if I'd seen these shoes in a shop rather than on line I'd not have purchased as I've had to return shoes made utilising this technique before as the plastic often delaminates from the material pretty quickly due to the different properties and ability to deform with the movement of the foot. For £100 this is a real cheap and short term way to make shoes. Probably going to have to use without the insole to actually give some room in the shoe, which pretty disappointing on a brand I'd previously had no problems with. Wish I'd bought some Inov-8 or new balance instead.”
