“These are Ok. I’ve owned Altras before, I do like the zero drop but these are a bit of a miss for me. The tongue is really thick and quite uncomfortable. I have wide feet but these are really very wide and it’s difficult to lace them so they actually support the foot. It’s also difficult to get them laced tightly enough around the ankles. I know the initial version of the Escalante suffered with similar so I thought the designers might have accounted for that but obviously not. Initially very comfy which is why I kept them but a bit annoying for longer periods of wear.”
