I love these boots. I jog every day over reasonably rough terrain and wanted a pair of boots that were flexible yet strong with a decent grip. I’ve had them a week, so it’s early days, but I am really impressed so far. They are waterproof, comfortable and have that flexible sturdiness that I need. Excellent service too.

There are many good things about these boots: foot-shaped with ample toe room (which is the main reason I bought them), lightness and comfort. They are on the whole a joy to wear and I would buy them again, but have only given them four stars because they are not really robust enough for the kind of hiking I tend to do, and definitely NOT waterproof, meaning extra expense for waterproof socks. Incidentally, I bought a half size larger than usual, based on reviews I read, but didn't really need to. This works fine with thick socks, but in warmer weather with thinner socks they might slosh around a bit.

best pair of boots I've had over many years. They fit a normal shaped foot, they are light, they add a spring to my step and they are weatherproof. They look well and can easily be worn indoors. Excellent all round

I first bought some Altra running shoes just brilliant, designed to enable the foot to work the way it’s meant to - wide enough for your toes to be active (rather than passive and squished) .....and zero drop. Really comfortable soles, so good that my podiatrist says I don’t need inserts with these.. Most comfortable enabling shoes I’ve ever had, Am more aware of my toes having wiggle room. But, I thought they would be even more perfect if they came in black, so I could wear them discreetly under trousers. So, I bought ALtra running/trail boots for walking. They’re just as good. Very lightweight. I hope that one day the general shoe industry will stop creating shoes like coffins that cripple us & which deform our feet. I speak from experience!
