“I've had many Hoka shoes over the years but these are the first off roaders that are not the Speedgoats. They're awesome. They remind me of the Clifton but in a off road version with slighly harder fell to them which is great given the soft ground underfoot on the trails makes up the difference. Confidence is high with these in wetter conditions. Lightweight too. My new go to for trail and off road.”
“A well made shoe but certainly not suited to some of the more rugged, less trodden Peak District routes. This is primarily due to stability issues which can cause the ankle to turn. In my opinion they're more suited to trail running with obvious paths and less for dancing from rock to rock.
Cushioning is solid and offers piece of mind when landing on rock, without worrying about heel damage. Shame stability is at the back of your mind though.”
