“Nice shoes for racing or light sessions - have got Altra lone peaks and Torins so am used to the zero drop. The Escalante racer is light and responsive - have not run much distance in them yet but hope to run a marathon soon. Thanks to Northern Runner for exchanging them for size quickly and efficiently”
“Bought for my partner. She says: very secure fit in the heel, really like the mesh (keeps feet cool) and surprisingly lightweight. Big improvement on the regular Escalante. Mostly used for speed work.”
“I prefer to run in zero drop shoes and was looking for something light as well as with a wide toe box. I have a pair of Altra Intuition but found them a bit bulky. The Escalante feels lighter and more responsive. I am really pleased with them and having run a marathon in them can say they are great for distance running as well as shorter runs.”
