Superior 4 Mens LIGHTWEIGHT & RESPONSIVE TRAIL Running Shoes Black Reviews

3.7 Rating 7 Reviews
Exceptionally comfortable trail shoe with great flexibility and ground feel. The burrito tongue is superb and I would love to see it used in the Altra road line up. Sizing is a little on the snug side. My usual 11.5 will be good for warmer weather but I would probably need a 12 to accommodate thicker socks in winter.

Don’t buy if you have wide feet. Narrow feet they will probably be great. Tried trainers on at arrival and wore them around the house for a hold day, they fitted lovely no pinching or rubbing. On my 1st run I noticed they was rubbing on the under\outside edge of where the big toe meets the ball of foot, guessed they would wear in, hoped the same on the 2nd run. 3rd run I figures out what was happening. Where the rubber of the toe guard wraps around and tappers off on the side of the shoe it was going under the edge of my big toe and ball of foot when foot flexed during my runs. They are now useless as running shoes and doubt I will get away using them for hikes. Shame that 10mm of rubber has ruined what could have been a very good trainer.

Very comfy - love the tongue design. The shoes are lightweight but capable - maintained good grip in pretty swampy conditions this weekend. It will be interesting to see how durable they are over time but so far very content.

A very comfy, light-weight, zero-drop trail running shoe. A great compliment to my Altra Escalante Racer and my Vibram Five Fingers.

I’m not a huge fan of the quantic midsole which I find to be a bit wooden/dead and unresponsive. I love the Altra ego midsole which has far more bounce and spring. So after trying these and finding them a bit lifeless, I went for the King MT which are really fun and springy to run in - plenty of flex and bounce.

Great shoe , lightw weight , comfy and grippy in light mud and grass . Cons - slippy on wet rock , and far to warm , the upper material is not very breathable at all .
