“The shoe had a good lock down and in general felt comfortable but there is a thin black rubber area just after the red toe guard at the front which pressed on my big toes. It might have freed up after breaking in but I could not take the chance.”
“I bought these shoes because I was looking for more underfoot protection and cushioning on hard trails than offered by my innov8 X talon 212s and Mudclaws, while at the same time providing good grip in muddy patches which get more prevalent over the winter in the area I live. Having taken them out on the first couple of runs they appear to fit the bill; very light, but stiffer and more protective underfoot than the shoes mentioned above, whilst also gripping very well in the mud. They are fairly comfortable out of the box but I think they are going to take a few runs to really break in. I find them a little loose around the ankle, but then I have very narrow ankles and I don't think this would be a problem for most people.”
