“Very comfy. But after 2 decent walks the outer shell has split on both boots on the toe joint. I don't know yet if the waterproofing is compromised as it is dry. In every other way excellent and good grippy soles. Am willing to persist as they are a good fit. But disappointed with durability.”
“The shoes are light and comfortable with a spring in each step. There is plenty of room at the toes which tend to spread out on long treks.
I went for a 9 mile walk mostly uphill on muddy paths, crossed streams, climbed over stiles and did not slip on muddy slopes.
The weather was awful with fog and drizzle but my feet were dry when we arrived back which was a pleasant surprise.. My old leather boots would have absorbed water and taken ages to dry out..”
“At last I've found a lightweight mid that suites me, the Lone Peak 4 mid. I'm a walker not a runner anymore, over the last 12 to 18 months I've struggled to find lightweight foot ware that I can have on my feet for many miles and think about the walk and not my feet.
