“Top quality from Hoka, light on the foot. The arch felt too high for my feet although it may bed in. Plenty of room in the forefoot. The outsole had an very good mix of tread suitable for road and trail. I would recommend.”
“Firstly, this is the first pair of Hoka shoes I have owned (in fact I hadn't heard of them before I did my initial research) and my initial impressions are very good. I am an experienced (aged 51) male club runner, 6'1", weighing 12.5 stone.
At £65, mid price I wasn't sure what to expect. I coupled them with a pair of ironman insoles (highly recommended for extra cushioning) that I already had, as I suffer from mild plantar fasciitis in my left heel. After 5 mixed runs of mostly woodland trail, between 5 and 10 miles, at 7.30 minute mile pace, they feel light, comfortable and the cushioning is thus far excellent. In addition the colour and style, although less important, are relatively bright but still stylish and tasteful.
Hence based on all this, a well deserved 5 star.”
“Ive been running and hillwalking in Hoka since they first appeared. I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro in a pair because they are so comfortable. Bags of cushioning and grip, durable tread, all good!”
