“The shoe is totally different as I previously ran in Nike Pegasus 34. However, after 20 miles or so I'm getting used to them.
My last 7 mile run was one of my quickest but the insoles are a little hard. My right foot is getting hot spots which will form blisters.
It appears that the insoles are a little lower on the inner arch than my Nike's. Also they appear to be be harder at the edges.
I will persist with plasters and other blister prevention methods as the shoe itself is solid and fast.
Whether I will purchase Hoka again I'm not sure. The jury is out.”
“I've been buying running shoes for 30 yrs but these have to be the most dissapointing pair at a hefty price, within a few weeks the material around the toes started to fray and quickly turned in to a big hole. I expect to get 6 months out of a pair of running shoes at least!”
“I’m a big fan of the Clifton model of Hoka. This version is a little sturdier than pervious versions but still a great comfortable road running shoe that I’d recommend.
Good deal from Northern too”
