“These are simply amazing. So light and grippy. Great fell shoe for those steep decents. Surprisingly comfy underfoot with only a thin mid sole. True to size as well. narrow but not to narrow, toes didn't feel squashed at all. Will be racing in these in a couple of weeks.”
“snug fit / lightweight upper so would be useful in water. Grip OK. Too tight for normal foot with socks so not much real world use for this shoe, not even shorter races. The old orange x-talon was a much better racer.”
“I love them! I was a little disappointed with inov-8 that they meddle a bit too much, and that they phased out the old precision fit blue/orange x-talon 212 and the new models all seemed a bit stiff . Fortunately, the 210 hasn't disappointed and is a great replacement for the "old" 212. It's a very minimal and flexible shoe so has fantastic grip and control on soft ground, sloppy mud and on roots and rocks too - even more than my old 212s as the sole is stickier - I've not slipped on the sloppy trails and now have the confidence to run faster downhill too! you can feel the contours underneath and mould your foot but they can be uncomfortable on sharper stones due to the minimal sole, I probably wouldn't wear on long rocky trails but most of my running is on soft/multi-terrain which they are ideal for!”
