“The Paradigm 3 is a far superior shoe compared to it's successor. Paradigm 4 has compromised it's design in a number of areas. Whilst the sole offers max cushioning, the Paradigm 3 disperses the energy better. It's successor has a more durable surface and feels more responsive but the P3 absorbs and disperses the energy better and hence a smoother and softer experience. Also, P3 has a thicker tongue - this protects the upper of your foot and stops the laces digging in. The P3 is also snugger due to the thicker tongue and locks the heel into the shoe. The Paradigm 3 is built for Ultra running and ultra mileage, the P4 is not.”
